Grateful for all the Blessings & Lessons of 2019

Updated: Jun 27

(AKA "2019 kicked ass but also dealt me some hard blows")

Here's my 2019 highlight reel...

To sum it up, 2019 brought both blessings & loss beyond what I ever could've foreseen. And with them all came so many lessons & growth. Let's start with the BLESSINGS: 💫Finding the love I've always wanted but never knew could exist. To feel protected & cared for, on the same level and also ready to grow with me, vibes so naturally with my children, and who makes me laugh more than anyone I've ever known...and he put a ring on it! 💍 I don't care how cheesy it sounds. If you know, you know...true love rules. 👩‍👧‍👧Gaining the cutest bonus daughter that became instant self proclaimed besties/twinsies/sissies with Mia (and also happens to be the same age) and who tells me I'm the best cook.😉 🥇Adding a WNBF World title to our team in Pro Masters Bikini! I told Wendy since I couldn't win a world title this year then she'd have to. And she delivered. And it was freaking awesome. 💪🏼 🏆Coaching our team to achieve goals that surpassed their expectations. I can't express enough how proud I am at how hard they work and dig in deep to achieve success. I feel SO blessed everyday to get to do what I love! Now here are the LESSONS: * You need to work on yourself first and do all the work that needs to be done in order to get what you want. The Universe will only provide to you what you're ready for. Basically it's not enough to just wish for something. Do what needs to be done on your end and you will receive/achieve it. (Also, go read The Secret) *Freeing yourself of toxic people, thoughts, and behaviors opens your world up to receive huge blessings. This has been my biggest intention since mid 2018 and it has proven to be wildly true.

*Don't be afraid to piss people off by setting boundaries. Healthy boundaries are crucial for healthy relationships and also for self care. Say NO more often! As women we tend to be people pleasers and afraid to speak up. Don't feel like you always need to make everyone else happy. Focus on making yourself happy and being in tune with what that really means. If you don't do this you will ultimately run the risk of sacrificing yourself too much. And that's not acceptable! *Love will come to you in the most unexpected places when you're not even looking (like the Target toy aisle, of all places). 🎯 Who would've ever guessed?

#myfavoritelovestory 2019 was also a year of devastating loss for me that only a few know about it. Even so, I chose to find the lessons in it & it caused me to appreciate my blessings even more. *Cherish those that stand by you during your hardest times & loss. Though this year has been marred with intense sadness & pain, I can honestly say it was also filled with more smiles and laughter than any of the 40 prior (I love you so much for that, Mike). (Also another very important tip: marry a man that makes you laugh every.single day.) That recap reminds me how much love I have in my life now...and I'm SO pumped for 2020! 👊🏼 Looking forward to being a wife, continuing to help our team crush their goals, watching our children laugh & grow, and manifesting all I desire in life. Wishing everyone peace, love, & prosperity. 🙏🏼 Here's to becoming the BEST version of you in 2020!
